I'm getting good at this! I took the back end of the 9053 apart, found the fault and fixed it so I now have both 9053's operational (for the first time in ages) but only one controller working properly. One of the controllers has no tail rotor authority. I must get around to buying a new one.

I have looked all over the place for spares for my various helicopters and am so happy that I no longer have to import bits from China and other places. I tend to use the 33G a lot and there will come a time when the local trees win and more parts are needed. I also run an Amax GT. Do you do parts for these?

Hi Julian,
Well I have had the canopy off and have put a plug of blue tack in the nose. I have also mounted a spare tail rotor on top of, and at 90 degrees to, the fitted tail rotor. The overall effect is that the chopper is now stable again and the forward/backward thrust is much improved thanks to the extra prop on the tail.
Many thanks for all your help. What a really super outfit you are. I've no doubt I'll be back for more bits before too long (I've just broken one of the landing gear struts but I've repaired it with bits off the last one I broke!!)
I've also just purchased a Volitation 9053 so I will definitely be coming back!! All good news for you!
